The gripping new thriller Informer starts off off with a literal bang. But government producer Nicholas Brown would like audiences to know this is not just a further hyperslick, superior-octane espionage entry in the Peak Television set period. “The figures have no concept they’re in a thriller,” he claims. “It’s about how properly-meaning steps lead to unintended repercussions and tragedy. It is a own and human tale told from the ground up.”
The six-episode sequence — which premiered to extensive acclaim on the BBC previous fall — facilities on Raza (Nabhaan Rizwan), a youthful, aimless next-era Pakistani living in east London.
